Why Should You Care About the
Happiness of Temporary Workers that leads to their retention ?
Introduction
Because temporary workers are only with your
organization for a limited time, you may believe they aren't as valuable as
full-time staff. There are numerous reasons why temporary workers' happiness is
critical, and you should think about them when you assess your company's
culture and policies
Temporary workers
may return in the future
Workers that are hired on a temporary basis may be
hired again in the future. Keeping a list of temporary workers you've worked
with in the past and want to work with again is a terrific idea
Share their
experiences
Temporary workers can help spread the word about your
business. If they had a good time working for you, they will most likely tell
their friends about it. Referrals from temporary workers can provide excellent
leads for your HR departments as they seek candidates for new positions. If
employees have a bad experience with your company, they may tell others not to
apply for positions there, causing your hiring pipeline to suffer
They may apply for
full time rolls
Temporary employees get a feel for how your company
operates and what it's like to work there. If they like what they're doing and
how they're doing it, they might apply for a full-time position at your
organization. Because you already know what to expect from the workers from
previous engagements, this could help your HR team decrease the costly and
time-consuming hiring burden
Conclusion
Working with temporary workers may be beneficial to
your business in a variety of ways, from assisting with a range of duties
during peak seasons to promoting your brand through word-of-mouth if they loved
their time with you.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteAs you have clearly mentioned thinking about the happiness of the temporary employees is really important because training of employees will cost a lot for the organization. if the organization can think of the wellbeing of the temporary employees, they will tend to look in to ways of getting settled down with the organization and that will give advantage to the company of having an experienced employee who required less training. Rewarding them well for the short time period they work, will motivate them to introduce the organization as a great place to work(Baloch, 2009).
ReplyDeleteHi. Temporary employment is where you are required to work on a flexible, temporary basis. This allows a company to hire a candidate to complete a specific project or recover a busy period. There are two different types of temporary work, however both work under the same premise that the employee is not a permanent member of staff. Some employers may be reluctant to hire temporary employees, however there are huge benefits in doing so that can save you time, money and resources.
